The pre-conference workshop, devoted to the practical aspects of graduate liberal studies programs, is an interactive forum for program directors -- new as well as established. The morning will offer sessions addressing "nuts and bolts" issues of administering graduate liberal studies programs. The afternoon symposium will address graduate level writing and the evolving nature of the 21st century seminar.
